Ravenswood Rockstars
At Ravenswood Music Academy, we like to rock out in the summer. Join us for a full day or half day rock band camp that will have your kids playing like a rockstar by the end of the week. In this camp the kids will learn a rock song on their primary instrument and a second song on a brand new instrument. By the end of the week they will be recording the song at Tightrope Recording Studio. Each band consists of a guitarist, a ukulele player, a drummer, a singer, and a piano player. Ukulele 101
Ukulele is one of the most fulfilling instruments to play in a group setting and it's one of the easiest entrustments to learn! Join Ms. Evita as she hosts a beginner ukulele class for kids from 4 to 7-years-old. This class will look at music from a variety of genres and will teach the students all the basics of ukulele. The participants will also be exploring how to use their singing voices in a healthy way, and even perform some songs for their parents at the end of the session. This class will be from 3:30-4:30pm each Wednesday from Wednesday, June 12th until Wednesday, June 26th. Please email hello@ravenswoodmusicacademy if your child is interested. Spots are limited!
